Relationships Between State Standards and Federal Mandates
The common belief with Team A members was that the relationship between our state standards and federal mandates shows that quality instruction, documented interventions, regulated testing schedules and differentiated instruction increase ELL students ability to perform high levels of proficiency. With the increased rigor of Common Core standards and tracking of students progress for teacher evaluations ELL instruction is more important than ever for all teachers to include in daily lesson planning.
